The Finnish Border Guard invites researchers, experts and stakeholders to participate in the Arctic Coast Guard Seminar 2019 organized in Turku, Finland on 4−5 April 2019! The seminar’s call for abstracts is open until 21 December 2018.
The Arctic Coast Guard Forum’s Experts gathered in Helsinki for a three day meeting in mid-October. In addition to ACGF Experts, the participants of the meeting consisted of Arctic states Rescue Coordination Centre’s representatives.
The Forum’s first ever Live Exercise, the Arctic Guardian, was successfully held in Reykjavik in September 2017. Now the Forum is preparing for its second joint exercise, which will take place in Finland in the first week of April 2019.
The Arctic Coast Guard Forum's SAR Training Workshop was held in Helsinki on 28-30 May 2018, with the aim of developing a Joint Arctic SAR Training Module.

Principals of the Arctic Coast Guard Forum (ACGF) Members gathered in Oulu, Finland to the ACGF Principals meeting on 8-9 March 2018. All Arctic Coast Guards’ delegations consisted of high-level representatives, which can be seen as clear sign of the ACGF Members will to develop practical level international cooperation between Coast Guards in the Arctic.
The Arctic Coast Guard Forum Experts meeting is organized in Oulu on 6-9 March 2019.
On Monday 5 March 2018 the ACGF Members conducted a joint Simulator Exercise in Aboa Mare Training Centre in Turku.
The UArctic Congress Call for Abstracts is now open. The UArctic Congress hosted by the universities of Oulu and Helsinki will be organized in Oulu & Helsinki, Finland on 3−7 September 2018.
The Finnish Border Guard will host one session in the UArctic Congress under the theme Challenges in Arctic education.

The Association of Arctic Expedition Cruise Operators (AECO), the Icelandic Coast Guard (ICG) and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Northern Norway (JRCC NN), invite cruise operators, SAR responders and other relevant stakeholders to join them for the Third Arctic Search & Rescue (SAR) Workshop & Table-Top Exercise (TTX).
